There have been 223 lunch hour 5K races including 191 of the last 192
months. The winner of the
first lunch hour race held on the Seal Beach Rec Center track in April
1981 was Erick Solak in 18:16.
There have also been 98 guesstimate races, 190 team races and 175 mixed
team events. Below are
some top 10 stats for 2002 and top ten all time records. The
518 total runners in 2002 was the second
most runners in one year. The record was 604 in 2001.
We averaged 43 runners a race in 2002. We have had
749 different runners run in our 223 races.
