TONY TRUJILLO WINS GUESSTIMATE RACE
Tony Trujillo was perfect on his race time to win the guesstimate race by 1 second over four other runners on January 13, 2003. The four runners missing their guesstimate by one second were Eric Wilson, Kie Soohoo, Oliver Black and Randy Emenaker.
DAVE PARSEL WINS 48TH LUNCH HOUR 5K
Dave Parsel won his 48th lunch hour 5K in a time of 16:38 on January 13, 2003. Dave has won 13 of the last 14 races held. Rounding out the top five finishers were: David Schiller 2- 17:26, John Araujo 3- 17:33, Ken Saxton 4- 18:56 and Chuck Sohaskey 5- 19:01.
Jon Duquette and Mike Farren were the only runners to establish personal best. Jon lowered his PB by 11 seconds and Mike lowered his PB by l second.
Four runners extended their double digit consecutive 5K race streak. Tony Trujillo has now ran in 49 consecutive races, Mark Calkins has 47 straight races, Peter Lew has 45 consecutive races, Nelson Slagle has 26 straight races and John Araujo has 14 straight races. Robin Khundkar streak of 12 straight races ended today.

HUNTINGTON BEACH COASTS TO TEAM TITLE
Huntington Beach easily won the team event with total places of 29 and a unofficial team time of 92:42, the third fastest team time ever! The record team time is held by Huntington Beach of 89:48 in May 1998. I need the times of Henry Rodriguez and Jose Gallardo to finialize the stats. Anaheim was 2nd with 78 places and a team time of 103:02. Aerospace and Corporate tied for 3rd. Aerospace totaled 89 places and a team time of 106:14. Corporate had 86 places and total time of 106:59. Aerospace leads Corporate in the cum series: 114-65-12.
Huntington Beach was paced by Dave Parsel 1- 16:38, Dave Schiller 2- 17:26, Jose Gallardo 5- 19:00?, Henry Rodriguez 9- 19:30? and Don Hill 12- 20:20. NO ONE QUALIFIED FOR MIXED TEAM TITLE
Aerospace was one female short and Corporate one runner short of qualifying for the mixed team title. That leaves the cum standings at 88-56-32 in favor of Aerospace.
