DAVE PARSEL WINS MARCH
Dave Parsel won the March 9, 2009 5K in a
time of 17:32. Dave has now won 99 lunch
hour 5K’s. Rounding out the top five
were: John Araujo 2- 17:56, Andy Born 3-
19:56, .Brian Werner 4-20:23 and Randy Parker 5- 20:28.
Four runners established personal bests
led by Glenn Arabori who lowered his PB by 1:17. Others setting PB’s
were Ted Gray 53 seconds lower, Mark Miyahara 37 seconds lower and Randy Parker
17 seconds lower.
Last
month, Laura Chaides Sohaskey ran the fastest ever lunch hour 5K for a woman over
50. She ran a time of 23:31. Congrats Laura.
The next 5K is
scheduled for 11:50 AM Monday, April 13 at Gate 510

ANNUAL SEAL BEACH
5K/10K APRIL 4TH
The annual Seal Beach 5K/10K will start at
8 AM on April 4, 2009. The annual group
picture will be taken at 7:45 AM next to the tennis courts adjacent to the sign
in area.
