	NELSON SLAGLE WINS 2010 BASKETBALL PREDICTIONS, BOB THOMAS 2ND
	Nelson clinched the 2010 basketball predictions when Detroit rallied from a 16 point 3rd quarter deficit to defeat
	Minnesota.  The Odds had the game even.   This was Nelson's 12th win including 5 of the past 7 seasons.  Nelson
	(12), Bob Scholl (6) and Gerry Hamilton (6) have won 24  of the 43 annual predictions.   Bob Thomas finished 2nd
	for the 2nd straight year and the 3rd time in 7 years.  His four 2nd place finishes are only exceed by Nelson (8)
	and Bob Scholl (5)
	It was an exciting race for last going down to the last 3 games.  If 8 point favorite Lakers would have won, Cap would
	have finished last.   If 10 point favorite Portland would have beaten 10 point underdog Golden State, Cap would have
	finished 8th and Jim Henning would have been last. Jim Henning would have also been last if 5 point favorite Utah
	would have beaten Phoenix.   Dick Hammerstrom gained 11 points on spreads in the last  3 games to edge Gerry
	Hamilton by a point for 4th place.  Cap's R4 prediction on all games beat all but POW Al Manzey in the final week.
	Al Manzey picked 10 winners while Cap, Nelson and Bob Thomas picked 9 winners.  Al was predictor of the week thanks to Chicago
	beating Charlotte, Clippers beating Lakers and Portland beating Golden State.
	Only 221 points separated 1st from last and only 66 points from 4th to last.  Last year Cap was 1st and 532 points ahead of last!
	The Odds would have been 1st if counted as a predictor for the 1th time in 16 seasons and would have been 2nd 4 other times.
