| EIGHTTEEN PREDICT OJ TRIAL | ||||||||||||||||
| Eighteen predictors have entered the 'OJ Trial' saga predicts. Included in this group is a record 8 Slagle's predicting!! | ||||||||||||||||
| Four guessed the cost at exactly $12M!! On side bars, the guesstimates range from 108 to 1311. Days of deliberation range from 0 to 21, | ||||||||||||||||
| date trial ends from 5-25-95 to 12-24-95, number of witnesses from 58 to 206 and number of alternate jurors left from 0 to 7. | ||||||||||||||||
| After the prosecution finished their case, 58 witnesses had been called. However, the defense called 13 witnesses in their first two days. | ||||||||||||||||
| The alternate juror pool is now 2. I believe I heard that the trial has cost $6M thus far. Looks like a wide open race for OJ Trial Prediction | ||||||||||||||||
| winner!! | ||||||||||||||||
| JERRY SLAGLE IS PRELIMINARY WINNER OF OJ 'JUNKIE' TRIAL PREDICTS | ||||||||||||||||
| Jerry Slagle, holds a two point lead over his granddad, Gene Slagle, in the preliminary results of the OJ 'Junkie' Trial Predicts. I have yet to | ||||||||||||||||
| hear the number of side bars, but expect to hear that 'crucial' stat someday!! Also some of the orther final results are preliminary. I thought | ||||||||||||||||
| I heard a total trial cost of $8.8, and a total number of witnesses of 128. Those two stats may change. The points you were awarded for | ||||||||||||||||
| each category is in the column following your guesstimate with 18 being the most points awarded and 1 being the fewest. Ties split the | ||||||||||||||||
| points thus if two tied for first, both would be awarded 17.5 points. Check the results and let me know if you note any errors. The next | ||||||||||||||||
| results will be published when I have all of the final stats nailed down. Best guesses were Rick Higgins on cost, John Baker on days of | ||||||||||||||||
| deliberation, Jerry Slagle on trial end (missed by 4 days), Larry Babich on number of witnesses, five tied on # of alternate jurors and verdict. | ||||||||||||||||
| Thanks to all for predicting. Would write more, but am off to party with OJ!! | ||||||||||||||||
| Some may argue that on scoring points for the verdict that hung jury would have been closer than guilty. I gave all predicting not guilty | ||||||||||||||||
| a tie for first and all others a tie for 7th. Any comments welcomed. Or does anyone really care?! | ||||||||||||||||
| JUDY NASH OJ 'JUNKIE' TRIAL PREDICTS CHAMP | ||||||||||||||||
| Thanks to the US World News the final OJ stats have arrived. According to the magazine there were 300 | ||||||||||||||||
| side bars and the trail cost was 9.1M (up from the 8.8M I heard). The side bar count looks suspiciously like | ||||||||||||||||
| an estimate thus there may be a revised final result!! If anyone sees any different final stats for any of | ||||||||||||||||
| the important questions above, please let me know. Judy Nash is the new champ - congrats Judy!! | ||||||||||||||||
