| JOHN SLAGLE DECLARED WINNER OF PRESIDENTIAL PREDICTIONS | ||||||||||||||||||
| Two and a half months after the Presidential election on November 4, 2008 I am finally comfortable in declaring an official | ||||||||||||||||||
| prediction winner. The votes just kept coming in. Part of the problem was that I was using one web site then found another with | ||||||||||||||||||
| more votes shown thus went with that site since the middle of November. However, there were 289,987 votes cast between | ||||||||||||||||||
| November 28 and December 3rd then another 1,615,452 were cast from Dec 3rd to Dec 18th. Only 14 votes have been | ||||||||||||||||||
| recorded since Dec 18th and none since Dec 27th. I wonder how long it took to count all of the votes before all of the | ||||||||||||||||||
| technology we now have? Must have been years! | ||||||||||||||||||
| Jim Henning led the morning after the election, but by that evening Tim Moore had grabbed the lead as noted above (Nov 5). | ||||||||||||||||||
| Two days later on November 7th, John Slagle had taken the lead. By November 18th Nelson Slagle had grabbed the lead | ||||||||||||||||||
| as noted above. By November 28, John grabbed back the lead and retained it as the votes finally stopped coming in. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Bill Huckaba and Nelson Slagle came closest on Obama, as both missed by .08%. John Slagle was closest on McCain | ||||||||||||||||||
| missing by .02 and closest overall with a .43% miss. Nelson was 2nd with a .51 miss and Bill 3rd with a .75 miss. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Bill was 6th on Nov 5th and steadily moved up until the votes dried up. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Previous write-ups below. | ||||||||||||||||||
| JOHN SLAGLE WINS PRESIDENTIAL PREDICTS (I THINK) | ||||||||||||||||||
| I found a new vote counter site and it has 5M more votes than prior site - John has slim .02 lead with more votes being found!! | ||||||||||||||||||
| NELSON WINS PRESIDENTIAL PREDICTS (I THINK) | ||||||||||||||||||
| The % of votes for Obama and McCain haven't changed in the last 10 days even though 193,000 votes | ||||||||||||||||||
| were added to their tallies. Thus, for now at least Nelson edged brother John by .06 to win the predictions although | ||||||||||||||||||
| he didn't grab the lead until three days after the election. Nelson was the fourth leader in the predicts. | ||||||||||||||||||
| John edged brother Jim .05 to .06 on predicting Obama's % the closest. Each had predicted the actual % | ||||||||||||||||||
| perfectly at one point 2-3 days after the election! Nelson edged Jim Henning and Tim Moore .04 to .24 in predicting | ||||||||||||||||||
| McCain's % the closest. Tim and Jim both predicted 46.38% for McCain. They too had a perfect prediction | ||||||||||||||||||
| at one point 1-2 days after the election! | ||||||||||||||||||
| In 2004 Randy Land and Bob Thomas had identical predicts and missed the final tally by .11. | ||||||||||||||||||
| NELSON AND JOHN TIED - 4 LEADERS IN 3 DAYS! | ||||||||||||||||||
| Early Friday morning the presidential votes have left John and Nelson Slagle tied for first | ||||||||||||||||||
| place, both with a .54% miss. Stay tuned - with 4 leaders in 3 days who knows what the | ||||||||||||||||||
| remaining votes will show!! | ||||||||||||||||||
| WINNER OF PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PREDICTIONS CHANGES DAILY | ||||||||||||||||||
| On Wed morning Jim Henning was in the lead, on Wed evening Tim Moore was in the lead and currently | ||||||||||||||||||
| John Slagle has grabbed the lead by .04 over Nelson Slagle. Stayed tuned as the final votes are tallied (not | ||||||||||||||||||
| to determine a President winner but to determine our Prediction contest winner!). | ||||||||||||||||||
| Currently Jim Slagle is off on Obama by .01% and his brother Jim is .02% off. Leading McCain is | ||||||||||||||||||
| the 3rd brother Nelson who is currently off by .11 to .17% by Tim Moore and Jim Henning. | ||||||||||||||||||
| JIM HENNING LIKELY WINNER OF PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION PREDICTIONS | ||||||||||||||||||
| Jim Henning is the likely winner of the presidential election predictions. According to the latest results | ||||||||||||||||||
| I have seen Jim missed the % of Obama and McCain's national votes by .45 % to .88% for John | ||||||||||||||||||
| Slagles as four predictors were within 1% of the final percentages. However, the results will change as | ||||||||||||||||||
| I haven't been able to find the final vote tally. If anyone sees the final vote for all of the candidates let me | ||||||||||||||||||
| know by sending me a link. The closest stats I saw a few moments ago are in Column B and Others is my guess! | ||||||||||||||||||
| You can find rounded % (as in Col B) but I would like the exact count to date and than I can | ||||||||||||||||||
| compute a % to 2 decimal points to determine a winner. I suspect the count will keep changing the | ||||||||||||||||||
| next few days. | ||||||||||||||||||
