$500-$750 a ticket. Son Jim found one on 5 yard line for $400 and
John found student ticket in open end of end zone for $220, both 10

45 yard line. All tickets were sold out but local interest was in
the 2nd game matching Pepperdyne and Long Beach State. Those most
fans didn't arrive until the 2nd game. Pepperdyne won 3 straight
sets 30-26, 30-21, and 30-26.

30-22 and 30-17. #14 Matt Anderson (6'10") had 30 kills and
# 13 Ryan Sweitzer (6'5") added 17 kills. Ohio State was
led by #6 Brett Verson (6'7") with 13 kills.

was defeated 3-0 and 3-1 by Penn State during the regular season, the
only school from the Big Ten that they played.
